Location

Apartment Peliška is located in Viganj, a small place southwest on the peninsula Pelješac. Nearest bigger town is Orebić (distant 8 kilometers).

 

How to get to Viganj:

By car

After taking the highway to Vrgorac, contunue by road to Viganj. On your way you will pass by a place called Ploče along the estuary of the river Neretva. After that you will pass through Neum, Ston, and finally Orebić, a bigger town just 8 kilometers from Viganj. You can also take a ferry from Ploče that will take you to a town called Trpanj, located northwest on Pelješac. From there it will take you 30 minutes to Viganj.

By ship

In order to get to Viganj, first you have to take a ship route heading to the island Korčula. The city of Korčula (located on the island) is connected to Viganj with a commuter boat just 50m from our apartment. A ferry line connects Orebić and Korčula and it sets off every half hour. There is a catamaran from city Split to Korčula, and a catamaran and ferry to Vela Luka (located on the western part of Korčula). Vela Luka is connected with the city Korčula by frequent bus lines. Also there is a coastal ship line that connects Korčula with Split and Dubrovnik that runs three times a week.

By plane

There are two airports, Dubrovnik and Split. Dubrovnik is closer, a two hour drive, and three and a half hours to Split. The airports are connected wit many bus lines that lead to the nearest city, and there are a lot of rent-a-car services.
